Sound-off Message?

Postby Hai Perso Coyone? » Thu Jun 09, 2005 1:11 am

Hello all,
Is there anyway to get rid of the Sound-off message? I know there is a way to get rid of the parking brake message, so I was wondering if the same implies for the Sound message.

Cheers,
Ashar :)

Hi Ash..........That message only appears when you want to toggle the sound on or off using the Q key right?...........if you don't want that option then go to Settings/Assignments...select Sound ON/OFF from the list and click the Delete Key Assignment button.......that has the added advantage that you can then put the key to some other use.......commoner ;)

Hi Commoner,
Thanks for your quick response. I forgot to mention another fact about FS. Everytime I turn on the sound, FS Crashes. So, I have to fly without sound all the time. I have tried to restart my computer but to no avail. I really don't want to reinstall FS just because of sounds becuase I have some payware.

Thanks,
Ashar :'( :'(
