Screen shots too dark?

Does anyone know why screen shots that I take on my computer at home look great (dawn and dusk shotz), but when I upload them or view tham at work they are too dark to see?

Adjust the brightness, contrast and gamma correction on your monitor at work.  (Or at home, whichever works best for you.)
