Heavy noses?

Postby Souichiro » Fri Jun 03, 2005 6:39 am

Hi everyone! Little question again...First of all I have this problem with two ac's First the Posky 747 and the new Dauphin from HC..

When I start up my created flight I immediately crash because the nose drops and sinks through the ground. I tried this on different Airfields and the result was the same....

Anyone out there knows what it is?

Download file names ?

I dont have either but check the [contact points] section in the aircraft.cfg. (actually have had repaint of Antti Pankkonen, HH65a_dolphin.zip from HC for some time but dont remember if I had to mod it)

Static height and static pitch. If these are off the a/c can drop when first loaded and can 'crush' the gear. ( these are ususally at the bottom of the section) Pause the Sim, load the a/c, see how its sitting, and how far it drops when you resume.

Vertical position, static compression, max compression,

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
