Press the key Impr pant beside the f12, then paste it on paint and save it ( as JPG if you can it takes less memory)

As Airbus.... states, the default Windows screen capture key is the 'prt scr/sys' key, right of the F12 key. The problem with this method is you can only capture 1 screen at a time, and then must minimize FS 2004, open your favorite image editor (MS Paint works fine) and 'edit/paste' the clipboard contents as a new image.

A much better method is to download one of many 'Screen Capture' utilities available. These allow you to capture any number of screens, keep on flying, and when your done flying the images have been saved for editing at your leisure.

I personally use GrabClipSave or Irfanview. There are many more available, and each simmer has his own preference. (Irfanview, besides having 'Screen Capture', also provides and easy editor to prepare you screen shots for upload to the SimV Graphics Gallery).

Check the 'General Utilities' download pages, or Google for 'Windows Screen Capture' or a specific title.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

Another good and free screen saver is Capture from Ana

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
