Runway lights

Postby expat » Fri May 20, 2005 3:58 pm

Does anyone know if there are any mods to runway lights available. I am interested in the approach lights before the runway. The ones of decreasing hight that are about a km or so before the touch down point.

Thanks

Matt

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Hi Matt the only ones I've seen are for a Dutch add-on, I don't think there is a generic add-on for this.

try 'lights_environment.zip', available at avsim.com (I checked and I don't think they're here, please don't kill me mods :-[). Enhances the look of the runway lights a lot but you'll have to edit your fs9.cfg. Its explained in the download I think. ::)

AFCAD will do what you want if it's just adding approach lights, or VASI. Bring up the airport in AFCAD and then click on the runway you want to modify and it will bring up a box that includes approach lights and VASI systems.
