1. More realistic ATC (emergencies, route change requests, etc.
2. Voice response support for ATC.
3. Airliners and turbines equipped with at least an LNAV capable FMC's which can be route entered within the sim. A Garminlike navigator on a 747 is the most rediculous thing i've ever seen.
4. Default weather radar, either WX or uplinked nexrad modeled.
5. The choice to start a flight cold and dark or engines already running.
6. More realistic default cockpits. I would rather have only 3 or 4 default aircraft that are completely system simulated than the wide range currently available but with the generic cockpits they have. The default planes in fly 2 had very detailed instrumentation for instance. Too bad the platform was so buggy.
7. Much better flight dynamics. MS should develope a program similar to xplane's which can automatically generate an accurate flight dynamic for the airframe and power available. Take the human estimation out of it.
8. More accurate weather, IE microbursts etc.
Don't some of you say I'm asking too much because everything I just mentioned was already done in other programs to various degrees and I happen to think that a giant like MS should have the resources to bring it all together and pull it off. Unless these bare minimums are met FS will continue to be classified as a "game" rather than achieving the status of a true simulator. Xplane achieved it, Elite achieved it. Both much smaller companies than MS. Why shouldn't MS expand their FS market by striving for FAA approval and therefor official realworld flight training as well as being an excellent entertainment platform?? Oh, and by the way. Does MS game studios have an email link? If so then wouldn't it be good to bombard the people responsible with these requests?
