Since I have my new machine with FS 2004, mainly aroud seattle because.... It's where the lesson are located (I  must re-learn I did not simfly since some years)

Some 5 years ago with FS98, I mainly flew in an area covering from south UK to Italy. Usually short distances giving one hour long flights or less. I find Take off, climbs, descents and landings are very exitings while I feel the longs hours at  given flightlevel heading to the next waypoint a bit boring.

On the last legs of my world tour, I'm actually stuck at FACT waiting for a little free time to take off toward Nairobi.

From there in another dozen legs I should return finally to my home airport, LIRN. :D

I normally island-hop around the Mediterranean or Caribbean.

Or I'll do massive long-haul flights like Sydney to Malaga, stopping for fuel in Japan (bit of a diversion but hey. . . . . ;))

Think I'm gonna attempt a "Round the world" flight, as this seems to be the thing at the moment ;D

Cheers,

Carl

I'm an all-around person, so I've been to a lot of different places. Flying deep into the Pacific Ocean looking for islands or high up on a mountain range is fine with me, lol. I am currently in Bangkok, but my home airport is Oak Harbor Air Park in Oak Harbor, Washington. So I guess I could say I spend quite some time flying around the mountains of the PAC NW.

Same here. I take little trips elsewhere, like Arizona or Florida, but mainly I fly in Washington State or Oregon. I mainly fly around my home airport of Sanderson Field in Shelton, then up and down the Hood Canal, over to Forks and then I fly all up and down the Cascade Mountain Range.

Right now I've spent an insane amount of time flying around Mt. St. Helens testing a brand-new scenery package I'm working on. A new, reworked and enhanced 15M resolution satellite image covering more terrain is the largest feature, as well as completely reworked AFCAD/RYW12 files and autogen. I plan on releasing it the second week in May to mark the 25th Anniversary of the catastrophic May 18th, 1980 eruption.

I just ordered Megascenery PNW as well, so I'll be exploring more of the part of the world I live in pretty soon :)

My 2 Homebases are EDDM for heavy metal and EDMO
for anything else.

I fly in europe, mostly around the Alps and the mediteranean
sea. (Currently making a roundtrip)

I really like the American WestCoast between LA and Vancouver.

I do a lot of Bush Flying in Alaska and Canada.

The Himalaya and Nepal/Tibet/Bhutan area is fantastic, too.
