repaints or models What?

Postby sonic » Tue Feb 22, 2005 10:43 pm

I see a plane I like that I must have but always see repaint, then cant find the model anywere were is the best place to look for both.
I assume I must have the model before repaint.

I've run into the same thing. Wish they would set up a seperate download area for repaints and keep all repaints and airplanes seperated. Barring that however you might want to look the text description over closely. Sometimes there will be a link posted in that to the original aircraft. Also some repaints are for payware airplanes so you won't see them in the SimV library. For those you will have to go to the website of whoever produces the model.

AFAIK all texture only files are linked to the required full file -

If you have found one where this has not been done please let me know & I will add the link -  but the vast majority are clearly linked ......

...& payware repaints have their own section .....

That is one of the neatest features on this site. And I think the only place where you can quickly grab any original plane as easy as the repaint.
