A380 cockpit FS2004

Postby supernova45849850l » Sun Feb 06, 2005 7:00 pm

Hello
I have just downloaded this cockpit and have a question - where is the pitch/trim gauge??

Also - when I install it, one of the gauge files (airbus.mA320.gau) has an error as when you try and start FS with that plane the error "Unable to load some aircraft or software, airbus.mA320.gau"

I have taken this file out of the gauges directory and now the cockpit works fine, but what is this file for? has anyone else had this problem?? how do you fix it???

You have to specify which cockpit, there are probably several.

The cockpit I am talking about is the one on page 13 of the panels page on this site, the one By Alex Christoff. 2.8MB.

Hi Supernova..did you actually read the readme file carefully..especially this bit....

IMPORTANT: THIS PANEL REQUIRES THAT YOU HAVE THE DEFAULT FS2000 CONCORDE.GAU GAUGES INSTALLED IN YOUR FS9 GAUGES FOLDER. YOU CAN GET THE REQUIRED GAUGES HERE:

http://pages.infinit.net/camsim/promax380.htm

IMPORTANT: To avoid software compatability errors when starting FS9, use NOTEPAD or similar text editor to open the make sure you have the following Section in your FS2004.cfg file
     [OldModules]
         FSSound.dll=1

Q) Where is the configuration file now located?

A) It will be located in your personal Application Data folder. On Windows 2000/XP systems, this is located in \Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Microsoft\FS9\FS9.cfg (for Windows 9x users the path is \Windows\Application Data\Microsoft\FS9\fs9.cfg). The Application Data folder is hidden, so you will need to enable viewing of hidden files/folders under the Folder Options in your Explorer..

I don't really think removing the gauge will help you  that would have been sorted out with the Fs9.cfg Old Modules bit as stated above...just do EXACTLY what the readme says and you should be fine..commoner ;)

Hello, thanks for the reply

I have the concorde.gau in my gauges directory and I have also added those 2 lines to my FS9.cfg file, I still get the errors tho

Just a shot in the dark here, but it sounds like an FSUIPC error.
