Real Weather

Postby dakota-flyer » Sun Jan 30, 2005 12:04 am

Hey, I just upgraded last night to fs9 (from fs98).  What else can I say but WOW.  Does anyone know where I can find current info on world weather.  I'd like to fly in some "extreme weather".

You can download real world weather in FS9  ;)

But if you want to manually look it up yourself.  Theres lots of sites out there that provide weather data on places around the globe.  To be very serious into the aviation aspects of it, theres also sites that give you ATIS conditions in some countries
Cheers,
RB

http://www.aviationweather.gov. That'll get ya started-lots of METARs, TAFs, SIGMETs, AIRMETs, you name it it's there.

Or for the dumbed down, "civilian" weather http://www.weather.com should do it just fine.
