if you want to fly the default glider, how do you get it into the air!? or do you have to switch aircraft when at the desired altitude? cheers  :)

That's one way of doing it. You could also select the gilder from Create a Flight & slew into the air (Y key) then save the flight. There might be a default glider flight to save you the trouble.

I believe there's a file posted somewhere (maybe here at SimV) that gives you a virtual aero-tow but I haven't tried it & forget the details. Maybe someone else can elaborate.
