Water reflections question

Is there any way to get water reflections with a GeForce4 MX 440??

I know there was a fix for FS2002 that let you have reflections but is there anything similer for FS9?

There are several water texture replacement packs on Avsim that make the effects, waves and refelections a whole lot more detailed.

Here is the link that to the water textures that I recommend:

Install them, then, in the Settings -> Display window in FS9, change the water detail settings to high. This will then, by default, changethe land detail settings to medium. You cannot change this.

Time to start saving the pennies I think......

I think your FX cards will, such as the FX 5200, which is my next upgrade for this comp....And I just found out a few days ago that my computer has an 8X AGP slot, so I am seriously considering an AGP card instead of PCI..but probably will have to settle for 128 MB for now instead of 256  :(

Any card that fully supports DX8 you will be able to turn reflections on and the water to high settings in FS9.

My old GF4 ti4600 displayed them just fine.  The MX cards didnt fully support DX8 that was the problem.
