Radeon 9600xt problem

Postby flyingbart » Sat Jan 08, 2005 3:40 am

Hi everyone its me again
Ive had a new graphics card for christmas the radeon 9600xt 256mb since i have put this card in my computer every time i use FS9 it closes down with certain high settings. Before i used a nividia mx440 with same settings and had no problems could it be because i have all the VFRs for the uk and London, Fairford scenery added on my computer and UT it just wont hack it BUT saying that it wasnt a problem before. I have been on the radeon website and got the latest drivers but makes no difference can anyone give me any advice as to do any trouble shooting
Cheers flyingbart

Should run it just fine.

You sure you haven't got any driver conflict?  did you use DriverCleaner3 to get rid of all the old Nvidia ones?

My brother had a similar problem with his 9800pro once.  It just didn't like the newer drivers for some reason?  rolled back to some older ones and his games didn't crash any more.

I us a 9600 (128M) with 2 screens and have no problem running FS with a lot of add on scenery. With the 256M card it should run great.
