Missing Gauges in DSB Tornado

Postby randombeaner » Sat Dec 25, 2004 2:18 pm

I downloaded this beautiful Panavia Tornado from here
http://www.simviation.com/fs2004military30.htm

It's called
FS2004 RAF Tornado GR4 Winter Camo Version 3.2
Image

the only problem is that there is a really nice panel, but it doesn't come with any of the gauges

Image

I've tried downloading the original GR4 and some other repaints but they only have a modified learjet panel

The readme doesn't have an email adress to reach whoever made this and I cant seem to find the gauges anywhere

The tornado is from DSB designs (I don't think the panel is from there)
Model Design by Andrew Tunley, DSB Design.
Flight Dynamics by David Lewis. Textures by Bobby Charlton.

Does anyone know where I can find these gauges or where to contact this guy at?

Ive just downloaded the aircraft ........ The gauges are in the DSBXML folder. This folder and the XMLSound file need to be put in the FS9 Gauges folder as is. Dont take the XML gauges out of the DSBXML file.

Hmm redownloaded... still missing the gauges specifically:

LAGO_tornado.gua (...\gauges\Lago_Tornado\)
LAGO_Tornado2.gau (...\gauges\Lago_Tornado\)
LAGO_tornado4.gua (...\gauges\Lago_Tornado\)
LagoF16.gua
LAGO_F16.gua
canb3.comp.gua
fds_rf4.pullup_0002.gua
F111_Wing.gua
C4gauge.gau

The LAGO_tornado#.gua gauges are said to be supposidley stored in a "Lago_Tornado" Folder

anyone know where I can get these gauges or contanct the guy who made this maybe he forgot to put them in ???

The e-mail address of the auther is usually in the readme file, thats what I always do anyway. And if thats the panel from the LAGO tornado (payware) then my guess is that it most certianly should not have been packaged like that. Also (as i remember) the DSB Tornado model should not be included in any package.. just the textures!

As far as I know the The DSB Tornado is no longer payware. It was released as freeware and a number of sites have it.

As for the readme... no email adress, and the webpage doesn't have one either

Sorry did i type wrong, the DSB Tornado has always been freeware, but the LAGO tornado (as i assume the  panel too) is payware.

If you have the DSB Tornado then i suggest you just copy the textures across, and add the apropriated aircraft.cfg entries for it (can be copied from the "Winter Cammo" package's aircraft.cfg - if you need help with this PM me.)

You can use the Lear 45 panel if you like, as this included the "fire control system" that lets you file the (simulated by effects) cannon, or get a freeware one off simV etc.
