I know no such thing as a stupid question...:-)

Anyways I've just formated my pc and reinstalled everything and somehow my flight sim 2004 seems to be doing something goofy on me...

performance was increased amazingly, unfortunately whenever I use ATC Commmunications it automaticall copies what I say and ATC says...It doesn't play them seperately, but instead both at the same time...so I'm not quite sure what's happening there...

Any ideas?

Sounds like you have COM1 and COM2 working at the same time.

Change to a plane like the default Kingair which has the COM/NAV selector panel, unclick BOTH and resave the flight as default.
