Absolutely will NOT uninstall/re-install

FS2004 will not uninstall/re-install from any conventional or unconventional method I have tried on my P4 Windows XP Professional based computer.  

Here are some of the methods that I have tried already:  Control Panel; going directly to FS directory and using the UNINSTALL .exe; tried to directly delete the ENTIRE file and contents; put the CD into the drive and tried to go through UNINSTALL / RE - INSTALL but would do neither and only gave me a RUN choice for INSTALLATION, which it locked up even trying that.

My computer has 4 HD's with over 80 gig each, so I got room for this as it is already holding FS2002 and CFS3 and they both start and play great on my system, without a glitch.

I always get a POSITIVE answer from this forum with every problem I have come here with, so now I really need your help again.  Thanks so much for all that reply in helping me to get my FS2004 back online.  :)

Have you installed SP2  ???
If so did you run a spyware remover before you installed the SP2  ???

I have heard some people have had problems with the SP2, and I have heard that others havent, personally I havent had any problems with SP2, but they say you DEFINATELY need to get rid of any spyware on your computer before you install SP2, or it will cause problems  :(

Sir knight .....if you have installed the Microsoft 9.1 update patch then you MUST uninstall that FIRST..commoner
