The AN-14

Postby jordonj » Mon Dec 20, 2004 5:42 pm

I have been playing with the AN-14 Little Bee and I have a few question...

I cannot...for the life of me, get the ADF to work!  It seems that the ADF only goes in increments of 400, 410, 420, etc...

Anyone know how to get it to work?

Also, it seems rediculously easy to land (not that I'm complaining)...I just wonder if the real-life one lands that easily...

I found this at another site
How do I make the Nav2 and/or ADF2 radios work?

Assuming that the aircraft has a workable Nav2 radio on the panel, add the following lines to the aircraft.cfg file.

[Radios]
Audio.1=1
Com.1=1, 1
Com.2=1, 1
Nav.1=1, 1, 1
Nav.2=1, 1, 0
Adf.1=1
Adf.2=1
Transponder.1=1
Marker.1=1

. . . couldn't find anything here at simviation
hope this helps
i know there's a specific fix for the tens/hundreds increments but can't find it right now
i'll snoop around a bit; wilco

compliments of the season,
bill

There is no NAV 2 radio (or NAV1 for that matter)

At least not as far as I can see.  There is a type of ILS, though it's called GIK-ARK...the latter being the ADF system.

I'll try your suggestion and see what happens...and Thankee Sai!
