JP, the first problem sounds like a calibration issue....I can't say for sure, because I've never had that problem.

I have, however, had the problem with non-sticking repeaters...primarily my brakes.  I always wrote it off to a sim issue though, not a stick issue.

Even that though is minor...wouldn't trade this stick for the world!

I was mistaken about the maximum power percentage it goes to 99%  but idle its at about 6%,  but i still like it alot, the only thing i wish it had was force feed back

I've got the MS Force Feedback 2 joystick. I've had it for about 3 years now, and it's still going strong except for the left tophat switch doesn't work sometimes. Here's a Froogle link:

Hope this helps.

I've got the microsoft sidewinder with forcefeedback. already many, many years... I really like the thing! I'd never buy one without FF anymore. It gives a more "real" feel when flying a simulated plane. You just have to experience it, can't explain it really.

Anyhow, go agaid with FS! It's very rewarding if you spend some time and attention to it.

Yup; I've got the M$ Sidewinder FF2 as well. By far the best joystick I've ever had. :)

It's older though; and starting to go and they're becoming very difficult to find - if I don't find a new one soon I'll be forced to try a new stick. :(
