Help with aproaching

hey i would like to know how to do a complete aproach from level 350, using ils, i mean my most important question is: how pilots know where is the runway in wich they have to land? how do they get to there?

I know this probably sounds like a "flip" answer....... but head to the Learning Center in fs2004.  These kind of basic flying issues are reasonably well covered.

It helps if you start with simple planes and navigation issues and work your way up.

There are some good ILS tutorials.... check the "tutorials" section here.... and if you can't find something suitable there..... do a Google.

Where are you going?

Does your aircraft have nav instruments?

Before your flight  make sure you are on IFR to your destination airport and  ATC Will take you to the the threshold .
