You say this came with the Snowbirds package (the effect and sound), right?

Please give me a link to where that package can be downloaded from . . .

Alright - those 2 .wav files (Check_in and Smoke_on) must be placed in X:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Sound (x = your drive letter; and keep them in the ct-114 folder).

Make sure you have guagesound.dll in your Flight Simulator 9/Modules folder.

PS - to activate the Check in, press the Test button on the annunciator panel.

I hope this clears things up for you.

One thing I noticed. If you start getting unexplained crashes of ACOF you may try taking out the GuageSound.dll. When I installed this package I got the warning that ACOF has found incompatable files and it asked if I wanted to load it. I picked "yes" and started getting program crashes until I removed the .dll. The airplane works beautifully but it seems the guageSound.dll has some problems.
