Screen Jerks while turning.

Postby SimBill » Sat Nov 06, 2004 3:35 pm

HI Gang, System: 2.8+ghz athlon, 64meg Nvidia mmx 3D 8Agp card, 512ddr ram, 40gig Hd. Now, while playing online in multiplayer, while Im flying straight and level, frame rates are 25-60 fps ( rates jump back and forth), now, while I do a standard R or L turn, my screen jerks and sometimes locks and a low frame rate, then turn back to straight and level, it stops jerking. My sliders are on medium settings, nothing really maxed out on sliders. It just started doing this. I have all applications shut off. When it does this, my hard drive light comes on and flickers on and off and sometimes stays on for awhile. its like its reading from the drive instead of the Ram Memory. Sometimes in straight and level it jerks but not as bad while turning. All Drivers are up to date, FS9 update installed. Has anyone had this problem before and anyone have any soulutions or suggestions, this is getting very annoying while trying to play online. Thanks Bill

I havent noticed it being jerky while flying, but I have noticed my system jerks sometimes, kinda like what you are describing when I am taxiing for take-off or to the ramp..... ::)

I had the problem while panning. I locked the frame rate to 30 and cured the problem.
