System Spec Test

Postby AuMaV » Sun Oct 31, 2004 6:05 am

Hi all
Got board and decided it MIGHT be fun to get together a basic database on system spec ver FS9 performance

Following this message is the basic form, just cut and paste or use the quote function to fill out

What this will hopefully do is give everybody a guide as to hardware, settings, drivers ect for a given FPS rate in FS9.

Don't post Screen shots of the FPS we trust ya ;)
Hope this turns out as intended as a bit of fun and hopefully a little helpful :D

You missed out vital part!

Your G/card settings.  No one uses Anti-Alias within the game for a start its all done on G/card settings

You need to add a whole G/card setting bit to get fair results. i.e.

Anti Alias Level
Anistropic Filtering Level
Image Quality Level

There the main three that will effect the FPS I think.
AMD64 3500+ @ 2200MHz 400FSB
MSI K8N Neo 2 mobo nForce3 chipset
1gig Corsair XMS PC3200 timings @ 10.2.2.2
XFX 6800 Ultra @ 450/1200
80gig HDD
Loadsa fans!!!

:)

Not surprising old son

The results would be pretty meaningless - and the time would be much better used walking the dog or making love to the wife.

Or the other way round if you're so inclined  ;)
