Oh god oh god please don't hit me...
I would be in a corner right now. In the fetile postion, in nothing but my underwear. But alas, after my last test flight I felt, well, compelled to tell my story. You see, for not only all of my vast knowledge of not only FS but of real world aviation could I have known that in order for the spoilers to be armed, THE THROTTLE CANNOT BE AT IDLE. I'm sorry, please don't kill me...
I'm just messin around, but 'twould appear as though I wasted everyone's time on the spoiler thing-I didn't know that it simply deployed if you attempted to arm it with the engine at idle. I never armed it in the air becasue I figured my spoilers would just pop up and casue a catastrophic loss of airspeed ( I used to manually move it into the armed position, just for realism-they didn't actually deploy automatically, I had to hit /). Well, I was messin around, flying out of the space shuttle landing facility near Orlando (I practice engine-out everythings there, 15000 ft runway) and as I was climbing past 16000 I figured "ahh, what the hell, might as well mess around and deploy my spoilers" and, ha, what a surprise.

They moved to the armed position, not the deployed position. Umm, so, ya sorry bout that :P
Seriously, I should have tested more.... wow I'm such a moron. Umm, ya, so about those electrical failures...
