Continental MD-11; gages missing

Postby jbrundt » Fri Oct 08, 2004 8:06 am

I d/l and installed Jim Water's beautiful MD-11 in the old Continental livery but unfortunately when I got to fly it the CRT displays are missing (as well as the AP windows) in the cockpit and VC views. I followed the install instructions but still no joy.

Any suggestions or ideas?

One suggestion is to make sure there was no gauge file in the download.
You can look at the panel cfg file and see what gauges it is looking for and check to see if they are misspelled or not puncated correctly.
Some aircraft have there gauges in a sepaerate folder if that was the case and you removed them from that folder to put them into the gauge folder than undo that and put the entire folder in the gauge folder.
I have a CRJ that does this if you look at the panel cfg file you will see a line which looks for this folder.
If this is not the case then you may want to look for a nother panel for the plane.
