FS9 COPY

Postby fly » Sun Sep 19, 2004 3:53 am

G,day Have been having a few difficulties with downloads of aircraft/sceneries etc.Have tried Simcontrol2 but am not happy with it as it rejects some perfectly good downloads. Have had more and more success with reading the README`s very carefully and installing as per the instructions.Unfortunately it is sometimes necessary to Reinstall FS9and consequently lose past downloads. As my drive is partitioned (2x) (C and D)and my working installation of FS9 is on D drive i have copied this to C drive(copy and paste) so i can test an individual download before adding it to my working installation on D drive. This does not give  an icon on the desktop .Obviously i would need a differently named icon on the desktop.I guess i really need to know what file  executes the loading of the simulator.???Any suggestions appreciated.Regards Fly..

They both will work perfectly, until you open windows.
