Traffic and more traffic????

Postby BigJoe » Fri Sep 17, 2004 1:04 pm

Could a person run both "Ultimate Traffic" and Traffic 2004" at the same time or would it conflict with one another.

Dont know why ......  just thought I would ask.

Therefore, if anyone is doing it, does it cause trouble with ATC at major airports.

I'm not really sure on this one as I don't use either.

However, I believe "Ultimate Traffic" was supposed to be an upgrade from "Traffic 2004".

"Ultimate Traffic" has over 400,000 flights and I don't think FS can handle much more, so I guess they would clash with each other eventually :(

Could you imagine how many flights there would be if you ran both* at the same time :o :P :o

Sorry I couldn't help more, maybe someone else can.

Carl out.....

YES IT'S EDITED (did say BATH) :-[

From my understanding, both rewrite the traffic.bgl file so you may only "use" one at a time. But, if you use one, create the BGL. Backup that BGL and run the other, you should be able to combine both manually. However, I believe this would create a serious amount of duplicate flights.

They both will work perfectly, until you open windows.

Hhhhuuuummmmm.........

you better have a whopping CPU to handle that kind of AI if you want to actualy fly the simulator.   ;)

That's a lot of flight data to keep track of in real time.

best,

Well now that its brought up I kinda have a problem with Ultimate Traffic too, on almost all AI flights there are duplicate, say a Cessna Caravan and another Cessna Caravan flying right on top of eachother. Not very real if you ask me lol. Thanks for the help,

         Gunner :)
