Refueling at major airports

Postby pim_rs » Thu Sep 09, 2004 4:50 pm

Can someone tell me where I can refuel on major airports like KLAX Los Angles?

On the smaller airports I can find a gasstation but there doesn't seem to be one at the major airports.

Also do they have all types of gasses?

The major airports still have pumps, they're just harder to find ;D

The pumps/aircraft don't discern different types of gas, which means you can refuel any aircraft, even if it's a Tiger Moth, or the new Boeing 7E7 at any pump ;)

Don't forget that the refuelling station takes you instantly up to 100%, whereas you want to load less for a shorter flight. I tend to manually adjust the fuel before startup to have the right amount of fuel for the planned trip.

Yeah just hit Alt and go to Fuel and Payload from the menu.  If you're into realism or roleplaying, imagine the gas truck and baggage loader is pulling up to you :)

No they don't all look the same.  It is hard for me to find the fuel pumps at the larger airports anyways.  I just call up the invisible fuel truck to fill up my tanks.  Then I pay them with my invisible credit card that has no limit and never has to be paid back... ;D  It is as real as it gets.... ;D
