Texture question.

Postby shockwa » Thu Sep 16, 2004 2:46 am

<== new to the forums..

I am having a problem with fs2004

The terrain and water textures are just bright colors. I can't pinpoint what I should edit, delete, install, etc.
I have a few addons but everything worked fine until now.  I don't recall if I changed anything before this happened.  Could it be my vid card drivers?  It's an old Nvidia Geforce 3 64MB. I turned my settings down in the game and to the card itself so the screenshots aren't that pretty :)Here's a couple shots. Image

any help would be appreciated..

WOW!
Where is that Three Mile Island?
Never seen nothing like that! But my guess would be video card.
You state "everything worked fine until now", have you recently added something to the sim, (scenery)? if so you may have something that is incompatable???

The first screenshot is KSFO..  the bright colors happen anywhere so I doubt addon scenery is the problem.  I'll try different Nvidia drivers and go from there if nobody else can help.  thanks for the reply though.

Looks like a driver conflict. Uninstall ALL drivers, then delete the remaining parts of them (such as folders from the HD). Reboot. Install new drivers only. Reboot.
That should fix it ;)

uninstalled the drivers and went back to an older version which fixed it.
