how do i make my harrier go up verticlely?

the file name i got was FS2004 AP Designs RAF Harrier GR.7/T.10.  B
UT IT DOES NOT WANT TO GO UP VERTICLELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ??? ??? :( >:( :'(

FS doesn't support VTOL flight except for a helicopter .air file...so things like a Harrier use a "work around" that generally involves uses super high-lift flaps.

This means that true vertical flight is not possible, you will need some forward motion to develop lift.
