"go around " message.
Is there any way that you can stop or supress this message when on approach?

Thanks, dave

Go into setings then under traffic set the density down to 10% or 20% it worked for me as my approach s were to slow at the time.

Those of us using ultimate traffic (UT) have traffic set to 100% so for some the best option is it ignore ATC and land anyway; once the runway is exited, you get handed off to ground (GND). works for me.

That's the ones of the good things of fs9 the realism, same happends in real life,no matter what hurry you are,you have to turn around for safe to avoid a dissaster, abobe all if you're in IFR,come on don't be lazy turn around and follow the ATC order and land it  ;)

Normally I will do like Rmac has suggested, however, this doesn't completely keep you from getting "overrun" on approach (I define an "overrun" as when you are flying a slow GA aircraft and a jet flies over you and lands in front of you).  What I will do in this instance is press the "Y" key on the keyboard.  This places your aircraft in FS 2004 Slew Mode.  Your aircraft will just "freeze" and seem to "hover" in place.  When the offending aircraft leaves the runway I then hit "Y" again.  Your aircraft will then continue on your final.

I was amazed to see this actually work with AI traffic yesterday.  I was practicing engine failures on takeoff in the Baron and was trying to get the aircraft off the ground on one engine (from rollout to takeoff).  I was having a hard time with my rudder control (it would periodically turn off) and there was a Piper looming large in my rear view.  I was contemplating dumping the plane off the runway in to the mud to avoid the incoming plane when he aborted on final and overflew me.  That was awfully nice of him.  I figured ATC would just tell him to land on my roof.
