Newbie Question re Instrument Panel

Postby Chisanga » Fri Sep 03, 2004 6:33 am

Hello all,

I have only just purchased MSFS 2004 today and seem to be having a problemwhere on the "Cockpit" setting the instrument panel is not visible, instead it is all black. I have had a quick look around to try and find an answer but have not been successful (I'm not the most computer savvy person in the world).

Is there a quick way to fix this?

Thanks
Chisanga
PS: Although the instrument panel is completely black when I hover the mouse pointer over certain areas it does say which instrument is supposed to be there.

try turning off "antialiasing" in your settings. Also is this just on one plane, a default plane or all?

Anti-aliasing is switched off in the settings and it seems to be occuring with all the planes I have tried so far.

Any other ideas?

Welcome to the forums, Chisanga :)

I think somebody had a similar problem to this one a few months back, I'm not sure, but I think it was a driver issue ???
