Display Settings

Postby commoner » Thu Sep 02, 2004 3:59 am

Hi all....could someone please explain the difference and how and what it would change or affect, between say,  a screen resolution of 1024x768x16 and 1024x768x32?  There is a whole list to choose from under the hardware tab. What do you guys use and why :-/ Thanks...

the 16 and 32 are the color bits you want to display..

32bit has more colors than 16..

Let's make an example..

(not real)

16bit= red, blue, yellow

32bit= red, blue, yellow, green, purple and other colors..

What i'm trying to say is 32bit had a more variety of colors..

the different screen resolutions the higher it is the more detail per pixel...
