- don't install direct into the sim - put stuff into a temporary folder and move it by hand
- don't install into key folders like the main Scenery and Texture folders (unless you know what you're doing and have kept a copy of the folder you're installing into )
- don't start messing with the sim cfg files unless you keep a record of what you have changed and can SEE the difference as a result AND have kept a copy of the files you have changed
Anyway, just my 2 pennies-worth. Nobody has to take any notice.
