what does "adventure" mean in FS2004?

what does "adventure" mean in FS2004?

   I've been trying to download some uitlities,aircrafts...etc,to make FS2004 even more fun these days,and there is something called "adventure" for downloading.
What's that?Is it a special "flight plan" that allow you to fly to an interesting or less-known location?

This sounds like an adventure some one made.
An adventure is a flight from one point to another comeplete with a briefing as to what you can expect on the trip. Weather conditions fuel load and so forth. Some of these are quite nice while others are about as much fun as watching grass grow ;D 8)
