The problem is JFK's services in the GPS (had to switch to a different plane to check - my DC-3 doesn't have one) clearly list Avgas; it'd be pretty silly if an airport that size doesn't have it. I
have looked via top-down; again the problem is that 1) this airport is so damned big it's easy to miss something like that and 2) pumps do not always look the same - there are several models. It's entirely possible the avgas pumps at JFK sre of a type I'm not familiar with; and therefore not recognizing.
As for flying to La Guardia I'm certain that would work; the problem is I'm conducting a max-realism flight right now; pole to pole. It's totally unreasonable to assume you wouldn't get gas at JFK so rather than just take the easy way out and fly to the next airfield over; I'm gonna try to find that hidden pump!
