Default Cessnas

Postby kingleo75 » Sat May 22, 2004 8:31 am

I finally got FS9 and noticed that the default 172 and 182 have some gray line running from the right elevator out about 50 feet.  Does anyone know of a file that get's rid of this?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wish I could but I can't get any screenshots to work.  I'll try to explain better.  On the aircraft selection page and in the sim, the default C172 and C182 have some sort of grey line that it even with the elevators and runs out to the right side of the aircraft for about 30 or so feet.  It appears almost like a control wire from the old-style R/C planes.  Hope that helps, If I can ever get any of these screenshot programs to work I'll try to post a pic.

You mean like this?  Update your videocard drivers and it should clear up.

If you are using a Radeon 7500, good Luck! The Latest Catalyst drivers do not address the problem and according to microsoft it is a graphics card problem. Check out this link for a list of known problems with a number of cards. Some have answers and workarounds but all deal with FS9.

GoodLuck!
