fs2004 hangs when resizing

After connecting to IVAO or VATSIM, I resize fs2004 to fullscreen mode, and then the screen turns black and the game stops responding.  Using fs2004 with no-cd

intel p4 2.66ghz
geforce4 ti4200
256ddram

You gotta wait a few minutes before it turns back on again.

the thing is, after a few minutes the "encounterd an error" message appears. the darn thing just crashes.
any help?

Yep, mine does this too sometimes.

I bet you are using 3rd pary aircraft like A320PIC or PMDG 737NG aren't you?

Instead of [ALT+ENTER] try [ALT+TAB] instead, works for me.

I think it happens because FS gets "out of sync" with the gauges.
