recently on fs2004 i could not hear any atc. so i re installed and the actual air traffic control voice is now on but not mine (or the plane) i need help on how to fix this as it is really annoying!

Maybe you changed something in your sound files?

This is going to sound stupid, but make sure that either your battery is on or you have at least one engine on with the approate generator on, also make sure you have the avionoics turned on. With your battery off you will be able to hear ATC but will not be able to respond. to them 8)

Hi Muz,

In alt/options/settings/atc make sure 'use pilot vioce' is checked.

If all the other sugestions do not work then I suggest that you back up all the stuff that you have added to fs2004 such as addons. Then uninstall FS2004 and reinstall it. That will fix it....
