FS2004 FREEZES

FS2004 FREEZES

I just installed FS9 everything loaded fine,tried to start game and it freezes on the splash??Tried with cd start,and with no cd start.Matrix FT4100,2.5GHz,100GB,nvidia g force4,mx420,512MBDDR

Do you have updated drivers for your GeForce. Requires driver version 53.03 or later for DirectX 9.x compatibility.Most recent update is 56.72.

Nvidia drivers available here:http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

If running Windows XP are you logged in as administrator?

A must I believe to d-load/install system stuff, like drivers or updates.

Thanx Dave,yes I am.I had to reformat,had a bug.Flying 2004 now.But do have a question ,maybe you can help.My Jupiter2 looks great in FS2002,but in FS2004 the VC looks jagged?The outside looks good,even looking into the inside looks good,just in the VC mode it looks jagged.Thanx aceronzo
