Navigation, strobe and beacons on iFDG A320

Postby Mercster » Sun Apr 11, 2004 11:17 am

Does anyone know how to get the Nav lights on the iFDG A320 models. This series of aircraft are superb and the only thing that spoils it is the damn lights!!

Any ideas?? ???

I have that plane as well, in Alitalia colors, and have no problems whatsoever with the lights.

Could it be a problem of the panel you're using?

Have you tried using the shift L key to see if they light ???
If this does not work than there is a prolem in the light section of the aircraft.cfg file
You might be able to compare this with the default boeing 747 aircraft cfg file. to help spot the problem.
Also check the panel cfg file to make sure the gauge is spelled correct. I have found several cases where an "!" was omitted in the gauge line. as a result the gage either did not show up or it would not work.

Have you installed any of the effects from the base package released from IFDG?  Cause from what I've noticed the repaints uploaded to different sites don't come with the effects.  You should download one of the repaints.  That can be the only possible reason as far as I'm concerned.

Thank folks - got it sorted.

It was the effects folder not being in the right place. Incedentally, have you visited the iFDG site?? It's great with some excellent models.

Thanks again.
