how can I change the perspective in the VC?

Postby Big_Al » Tue Apr 13, 2004 10:47 am

Is there any way to change the perspective of the VC for an airplane? example: last night I purchased the md-11 and the airplane sits way too low on the ground. also it seems as if the VC view is too far back in the airplane, because if I look out the VC at an airplane infront of me then switch to an external view, that airplane is actually below me!!! so the perspective is wrong.

now what can I do to edit the height of the VC texture and the location of it compared to the airplane? is this even possible? it make taxing and flying extremely difficult in the md-11.

note - I know about shift+enter and the other buttons to change the viewpoint, but Im talking about moving the actual VC display!

Thanks,

Alex

The VC is not a texture but is actually part of the model, that you can't modify.
Your description seems to say the interior and exterior models do not match, which I doubt, specially if your a/c is a payware.

Can you post a few screenshots, so we can see what the problem is ?

actually that is the exact problem. the models do not match. ill post screenshots tonight but I was stopped at the taxi-way right behind an airplane, but switching to an outside view showed my airplane ontop of the one infront of me. also the 2d and VC views have different perspectives, everything looks farther away when switching to the VC from the 2d cockpit
