ATI Flickering Problem HELP!!

Postby Vagrant » Sat Apr 03, 2004 11:38 pm

I installed a ATI 9800Pro card with the latest Omega drivers in them and I am having problems with objects flickering on the screen. I have a P4 3.0 GB, with 1 gig a ram and 30gb hard drive. I have looked everywhere to no avail.

I have the same setup. I updated to DirectX9.0B and my sound card drivers (I have a SBLive). Not sure if they directly affected my flashing buildings, but it stopped.

What OS are you using? Have you been having problems with black transparent textures? (Anything that is supposed to be transparent, is actually black)
That was one of my issues as well.

They both will work perfectly, until you open windows.

Hi
If your talking about scenery ground flashing sometimes dropping the mip map quality (display hardware in FS9) to 4 or 3 will fix the prob
