Try deleting the Fs9.cfg & restart the sim.
FS2004 will rebuild the cfg file, & all should be good.

that should do the trick...only thing it does is, is rest any settings you had, and reset the default flight to seattle on the runway!!
other than that its great for resetting stuff

Deleting the "fs9.cfg" file and then restarting the Flight Simulator 2004 (FS2004) will indeed prompt the sim to recreate the configuration file with default settings.
