Fiat 7002 helicopter aka 'The flying toaster'

Postby theflyingpiano » Sat Aug 21, 2021 1:22 pm

Hello all, I'm new to the forum so please excuse me if this is being asked in the wrong place. Does any body have a copy of the Fiat 7002 helicopter that was produced by Swedbird for Fs2004 a number of years ago? I have tried the Wayback machine but unfortunately this is one of his designs that was not captured. I have searched the Web but can not find any links to a download. Yes... I KNOW IT WAS A BUT UGLY HELICOPTER... and lacked in performance but for me that's the appeal. I would be extremely grateful if any one has a copy they could PM me. Thanks.

Just in case you wondered what the Fiat 7002 looked like....not everyone's cup of tea, but she does have an appeal. I really hope someone has a copy.

No results for a download that I could find. Some people out there will have it. I am a helo fan and never heard of this site. Shame it went.

Thanks for your efforts Pete. I looked long and hard at the Archive files but like you had no joy. I'm not sure if Lasse Lindh, the author of the original, is even still with us! (I hope so.... but non of us are getting any younger!). I think the only hope is someone may have it tucked away in their download archives. The irritating thing is that I know I had this heli at some point in the past but never made a back up (more fool me! ). Most simmers have burnt their downloads to CD or other storage media so there's a chance it could turn up, probably filed under 'Ugly Aircraft' or 'WTF! . ... I live in hope!

The Fiat, as well as most, if not all Swedbird heli's are now in the Sim-Outhouse library.

FS2004 version. No FSX version but the FS2004 should work.

I gave the Archive files a lot of thought, but like you, I was unsuccessful. I'm not even sure whether the original author, Lasse Lindh, is still alive! (I certainly hope so, but nobody is growing any younger.) The only possibility, in my opinion, is that it may be hidden away in someone's download archives.

I wanted to know how did you get the "already fsx compatible" files? were they from the default planes in fsx?
