The Republlic Experimentals Uploaded

Postby Milton » Fri Jun 13, 2014 9:03 am

This week, I have uploaded three aircraft, the Republic "Experimentals". They are the XP47J, the XP47H, and the XP-72. Not sure when they will show up but you might keep an eye out for them in the FS9 Props section.

These packages are also FSX port over friendly having been tested on FSX/Accel/SP2 and P3D (with some minor issues there depending on versions).

Lots of model variants and superb paint schemes and sounds by Nigel Richards and Steve Bryant.

We hope you enjoy them. :-)

I just found out that the aircraft were loaded into the FSX-Vintage category instead of the FS2004-Props category. These are FS2004 aircraft but work well in FSX and P3D.

Hi Milton

I have listed them in the FSX section as they will get 5x more attention there. Only a fraction of our site users use FS2004 as their main FS.

I have also listed them as 'FS2004/FSX ....' - so users can see they are primarily FS2004 but will also work in FSX.

However you are the creator and I will change the listing into the FS2004 section if you prefer.

I am also about to list them in our facebook page and main front page anouncements. (I do this a day or 2 after release)

Classic files indeed !!! As always from you Milton!! Among the best designers of all time.

Let me know & I'll change the category.

Thanks as always!

Thanks Pete; no need to change them; I understand your logic and it makes sense.

The xp-72 I uploaded last night then should show up in the same place I hope. :-)
That completes the 3-pack of experimentals we did.

Thanks

For those of you not into military variants, all 3 aircraft have civilian versions as show here in screenshots.
