Getting FacetrackNOIR to work?

Postby Kartoffelsalatatatat » Mon Jun 24, 2013 11:59 am

In simple words? Anyone?

I just downloaded facetracknoir version 1.70, but I can't get it to work within FS2004. Here's what I've done so far:

[*] Installed the software, started it. It does pic up my webcam, and tracks my face quite well.

[*] Then downloaded and selected "FS2004.ini" in the 'profile' box.

The next step would be to ensure that FSUIPC.DLL is in the Flight Simulator 9\Modules folder, but it is there already. Upon starting FS2004, I get a message that some program is 'not accredited to use FSUIPC.DLL' or something among those lines.

Does anyone have a clue what's going on?

I do not have the software you are talking about but is the version of fusipc the unregistered version. You might have to have the registered version.
I also believe that you have to make a entry in fsuipc but can not remember for sure. <<r

I tried facetracknoir out about a month ago with no problem. The software interface wasn't as well developed as TrackIR 5, but I certainly would recommend giving it a try.

On the other hand I use FSX instead of FS2004, and I do have the paid version of FSUIPC 4.

So I'll go along with Gary. Do you have the paid version? And which version is that?

Going to schiratti.com it looks like there are 2 versions? FSUIPC 3.999z4 may be for FS2004, but I'm not sure.

Keep trying to resolve the problem, it'll be well worth it.
