Is World Of AI compatible with windows 7

Postby Razgriz » Thu Jul 08, 2010 8:01 pm

I just bought a new computer and now when I try to install the Ai files through the installer this error message pops up

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

If anyone can help me it would be much appreciated.

It is generally inadvisable to eject directly over the area you just bombed

I have it installed on Win 7 Professional 32 bit and installed perfectly, but I am not sure of the Win 64bit.. Will install it on my notebook quickly, which ave the Win7 64Bit and see what it do.

[edit]Do you have 32 or 64 bit OS? I am having trouble installing on the notebook, it says the AI already exists, but I haven't installed it here yet[/edit]

[edit]Having a look at your error messages again, maybe it is because your FS are in the Microsoft Games folder. Win 7 and Vista have permission issues with addons, and as a rule I install my FS directly on the C drive. Oh and I see you have a 64bit OS. [/edit]

I've installed it successfully on my notebook, Win 7 Professional 64 bit, so maybe you can contact them and ask?
