FS RECORDER

Postby Elroy13 » Fri Jun 05, 2009 12:50 pm

Im not sure if this is the right place to post this...

Can anyone give me any good tips for FSR in FSX. I just added it on yesterday to the sim and got it working this morning. I mainly want to record a flight and then fly wing man to it.

I crashed my first try when I played it back as traffic. My starting aircraft was placed right on top of the recorded one at the start of the runway!

The easiest way to avoid that is to move either one of the aircraft (you or the AI when you record it) to the left or right so you end up side by side.  Or move the AI recording a bit farther forward before you start recording.

I really have enjoyed the recorder, especially doing heritage flights! But it really kills the sim during playback as traffic. It stutters bad!
