Im using FSX
If you've installed any WOIA packages, you may have noticed that your default FSX ai aircraft traffic is now missing (along with the 'ships and ferries')....FSX will use either FS9 or FSX formatted traffic*.bgl files, but not both. If it finds FS9 formatted files it uses them and ignores the FSX formatted files. WOAI, along with most other ai traffic file downloads are in FS9 format. If you want the FSX default ai traffic back you must convert the FS9 files to FSX format. With that in mind, and for creating your own ai flight plans, here are a couple of programs..
AIFPC-
http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4746&highlight=AIFPC&page=3-download link in message #57. A compiler/decompiler that works with TTools source .txt files to generate traffic*.bgl files in FS9 or FSX format. Can also be used to convert from FS9 <-> FSX format. To create your own traffic, you would follow the TTools user manual but use AIFPC.exe to compile/decompile in place of Ttools.exe.
AI Flight Planner v1.6-
http://members.shaw.ca/aifp/-a full featured ai flight planner that allows you to view/create/edit/convert FS9 and FSX ai traffic files in the program window using lists and user input fields rather than in .txt files. Has an excellant user manual.
One other note: While you can create ai traffic using your add-on flyable aircraft, due to their complexity, they have a much greater impact on sim performance than those designed for ai use.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
