is there some kind of config file where you can add certian planes to the AI list?

Download Traffic Tools v2.02 by Lee Swordy The help file, Readme.htm, will explain the inner workings of FS ai traffic and how to create or edit ai traffic.

If you're using FS2004 then Traffic Tools is all you'll need to create new ai traffic for your sim.

If you're using FSX you'll need Traffic Tools (for the Readme.htm) and

damn BGL im guessing i need the god awful FSX SDK so i cant save in the right form

No, you don't need the SDK. AIFPC is not dependant on the FSX-SDK.

Just follow the instructions in the TTools Readme.htm to create/edit your ai traffic.

When the instructions tell you to decompile or compile
